What I am working on
I am currently Senior Manager (Design and Planning) at People's Association, overseeing the design and planning of the upgrading of, and new, community clubs in Singapore.
Previously, I was a Project Architect at Surbana Jurong, running public housing projects, where I am involved in coordination, authority submissions, site inspections and seeing to completion.
When I have time, I host a podcast called Architecture Siol! Podcast where I chat with fellow Architects to discover their stories, issues overcome, opportunities seized and lessons learnt through their architectural journey.
I post videos on my Youtube Channel where I share tutorial videos and insights on architecture practice.
I also run an open source wiki called ARCHLOGBOOK, where I share architecture practice information in a structured manner for easy learning.
Features & Recognitions
I have had the privilege of working with various organisations and individuals who are passionate to serve the architectural community.
In 2023, I was involved in the Singapore Institute of Architects Young Architects League (SIA-YAL), where I helped to create the platform for the sharing of ideas and resources via telegram groups, channels and file sharing sites.
In 2024, I was conferred the Construction Resilience Award from Housing and Development Board. This award was to recognition of project teams who pushed through during the COVID period.
